A family bakery-café with two shops in Beirut
Cedar Crumb started as a two-oven bakery behind Hamra Street, selling country loaves and zaatar manoushe to the neighbourhood before work. The queue got longer, the ovens got bigger, and in 2024 we opened our second shop on Sassine Square in Achrafieh.
Everything is baked in our production kitchen in Dekwaneh. Nadine and the night team start at one in the morning; the sourdough is fed twice a day; the flour comes from Bekaa Mills, the butter and cream from Lebanon Dairy Co., and the eggs from a farm in Chtaura. The vans leave for the shops at six, so the first loaves are on the counter when we open at seven.

Hamra — Hamra Street, open every day 7:00 to 21:00. Achrafieh — Sassine Square, open every day 7:00 to 22:00. Both shops have seating, coffee from Cedar Coffee Roasters, and the full cake counter.
